New version of SICRIS, V5.3, installed
At IZUM, we have successfully installed a new version of SICRIS, V5.3, which brings significant technological upgrades and performance improvements. The Java version (from 17 to 21) and WildFly server (from 26 to 35) have been updated, and we have switched from Javax to Jakarta libraries. For faster content display, we have also switched from JSF to JSP, which further speeds up system performance and improves the user experience.
With this upgrade, we also successfully completed the import of new Horizon projects and the update of existing ones into the SICRIS system. A total of 341 projects were updated, and 502 new ones were added. Among them, 83 projects do not have any Slovenian organisations registered, so they have been marked with the status NUP (inactive, not displayed) in accordance with the system rules. After validation, there are now 419 new visible projects in SICRIS, with a total of 798 Horizon projects presented.
In the COBISS.SI system, the data on journals' impact factors for 2024 was added to the JCR (Journal Citation Reports) database (Impact factor (1994–2024)). The data on journals' impact factors for 2024 was added to the SNIP (Source Normalized Impact per Paper) database and the data for previous years was updated (1999–2024)). In COBISS.SI, the structure of both databases is updated.
The document Typology of Documents/Works for Bibliography Management in COBISS was updated.
The main new feature is the support to open science monitoring (the types 1.03 Other Scientific Articles and 2.20 Research Data are now supported with code lists for open science).
